When I was a child I adored myths and legends, although a little envious that the best creatures of my island were usually to be found in the mist drenched thermal wonderlands in the centre, not my East Coast.

So I jumped at the chance to make a "harpy" for a music video, dreams coming true when it turned out to be the bird-woman from my childhood stories!

I was truly privileged that not only did Alien Weaponry commission me to make the wings and claws for Kura Ngaituku's costume, they had an amazing crew of visionaries to bring her to life in the Hatupatu music video.
